DBN Hunt & BEACH WALK

We had another very successful Beagle Hunt at Hillhouse on Sunday. Despite a conflict with the world cup rugby

Gizmo, Peaches, Ember, Buddy & Francesca turned up for the hunt.  It was a beautiful spring day and there was a wonderful abundance

of wildflowers and birdlife.  Most the hunt lines trailed through the forests which was a nice escape from the heat.  The hounds

ran really well and and are definitely ready to hunt longer distances.  Big thanks to Nic and Mandy who let us use Hillhouse for the hunt –

its such a beautiful place. (www.hillhouse.co.za)

Sadly it looks like that was our last hunt for the season as the weather warms up and snakes become a danger to the dogs.

We’ve had lots of requests to organise a Beagle Beach Walk.  It’s a great opportunity for the pack to socialise and walk off the lead.
