Pups for sale – Rustenburg

EDIT (24 May 2012) – ALL PUPS HAVE BEEN SOLD!

*NOTE:* beagles are high maintenance dogs. They need constant attention and lots of exercise and mental stimulation. Training is essential for puppies! They are easily bored, and WILL bark and howl and disturb your neighbours. They WILL dig up your garden and chew your plants/shoes/kreepy-krawly/clothes/sprinkler system/everything they see ESPECIALLY if they are bored. PLEASE remember these factors when purchasing a puppy!! Beagles are pack animals and NEED to be part of your family. A beagle living outside, alone is a recipe for disaster.*

Please so some reading and research into the breed if you have not had a beagle before. Dog Breed Info has some valuable info as well as Wikipedia. You may find some interesting info on Burke’s Backyard too. **

R2500.00 for a puppy.

one female puppy

six male puppies

Both parents are pure bred, but not registered

The puppies were born on 17 April 2012 and we will let them go at around the beginning of June.

  1. Hello Laurette,

Your pups look beautiful and the parents look good as well.

I am just wondering why you are selling them so cheaply?

Although they are not registered my experience with another breeder has been she has sold her for R5,000 each. I sell my pups for R7,000.

You can tell me it is none of my business if you like – I only have the wellbeing of the breed in mind and my experience has been when the dogs are so cheap people dont value them and push through with the puppy and adolesence problems.

You can call me should you wish to have a chat on 021 7853289.

You are welcome to take a look at my website and see what I am all about.

I trust you take this email in good faith and know I only want to help.

I only sell my pups in the Cape Town area and refer all inland buyers to breeders up your way who I know I can trust.

    regards,

    Maxine

    Those are too cute 🙂

I dont want to say anything but R7000 for a dog even as cute as a beagle is quite expensive

Your puppies are very cute, and so are their parents. I bought my Beagle female 5 years ago and paid R3000.(She has papers though).

I wouldn’t think twice of buying one of your beautiful pup’s. Just already got 3.
    🙂

None of my business but we cant afford a pup for R7000. I adopted a pure-bred dog from someone who neglected a dog who could afford the R7000. I don’t think it is the money, it is the family who take care of a dog, make sure they sleep inside and are part of that family for their entire life-time. Even so called Dog Behaviour Consultant could not fix our problem and ignored us, but we kept this dog and it has turned out to be amazing. All it needed was love and patience. So money does not matter!

  6. Ray says:

I think it is fair priced. Having to pay R7000.00 for a dog is not fair. I paid R50.00(fifty rands) for a 2year old german shepherd.

Guys, this post and this website is NOT about the price of dogs. It is about beagles and beagle scent hunts and finding responsible owners for beagle puppies and beagles that need to be rehomed. Any further comments relating to price will be deleted.
    thanks,
